We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to support the financial management and governance of a portfolio of technology and change initiatives. The role will focus on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, timesheet management, and portfolio administration, ensuring accurate and timely reporting for delivery teams and senior stakeholders.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial controls, producing daily, weekly, and monthly reports, tracking project costs, and supporting delivery teams with financial and governance activities
To be successful as a PMO – Financials, you must have the following essential skills:
Advanced Excel skills including Pivot tables, formula, data analysis and reporting
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, strong financial reporting and analytical skills with attention to detail
Strong organization and workload management skills, able to effectively prioritize competing priority requests and ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines to complete BAU deadlines
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including providing clear status updates and escalating issues when appropriate
Proactive approach to identifying risks and resolving issues
PMO specific experience
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is based in Knutsford or Glasgow.

To support change delivery managers in the delivery of successful projects, while ensuring that project management processes and practices are aligned with controls and governance standards and that projects are aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives.
