Explore locationJoin Us as a Junior Technical Product Owner. Are you looking to build your career in payments and financial technology? We are seeking a motivated Junior Payments Analyst to join our growing team and play a key role in supporting the delivery and enhancement of payment solutions across our organisation.
As a Junior Payments Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and payment specialists to analyse requirements, support solution design, and help ensure the successful delivery of payment services and initiatives.
Essential Skills
1. Cross-Functional Translation
Ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and back-end developers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to different audiences.
2. Critical Thinking & Problem Solving
Ability to translate business requirements into end-to-end solution designs, including payment journeys.
Experience conducting gap analysis and identifying process improvements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
3. Payments Knowledge
Working knowledge of ISO 20022 payment messages and interface specifications used for internal system integration.
Basic understanding of payment applications and payment processing environments.
Desirable Skills
Knowledge of instant payment schemes, such as Faster Payments (FPS) or SEPA Instant Payments.
Understanding of Faster Payments-related payment messaging standards.
Exposure to:
ISO 8583 messaging (commonly used within FPS environments).
ISO 20022 formats, including pacs, pain, and admi message types.
Experience working within an Agile environment, particularly writing features, epics, and user stories.
This role is based in Knutsford.
