We are seeking an exceptional Senior AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale next-generation Generative AI platforms that power intelligent, secure, and compliant solutions across the enterprise. You will play a critical role in shaping our AI strategy, engineering robust multi-agent systems, and delivering production-grade AI capabilities in a highly regulated environment.
Key Skills
Hands-on experience with AWS services including Glue, Step Functions, EventBridge, Lambda, S3, and Redshift
Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation
Practical experience working with REST APIs, including development and integration
Containerisation experience using Docker
Strong Python programming skills with the ability to write clean, efficient, and scalable code
Expertise in PySpark and Spark SQL for building efficient data processing solutions
Experience with GitLab, including version control, CI/CD pipeline management, and branch strategies
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive tasks end-to-end
Desirable Skills
Hands-on experience with Databricks for building, scheduling, and monitoring data pipelines (Jobs, Workflows, Delta Live Tables, etc.)
Hands-on experience with Parameter-Efficient Fine-Tuning (PEFT) techniques including LoRA/QLoRA, and alignment methods such as RLHF/DPO for domain adaptation and structured output reliability.
Practical knowledge of model optimisation and inference acceleration, including quantisation approaches such as GGUF, AWQ, and EXL2, enabling high-performance deployments on constrained hardware environments.
This role is based in Glasgow.
