Explore locationEmbark on an exciting career opportunity within our Non‑Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) Coverage Team, as a Relationship Director you will manage a portfolio of core client relationships in our FinTech & PSP ( Payment Service Provider) team, demonstrating outstanding customer relationship management skills in order to embed and grow client relationships. You will drive our strategy towards these clients, which entails empowering your relationship team and business partners to deliver the best of Barclays to your clients. You will manage a portfolio of high growth, complex and strategically important Insurance companies, FinTech & PSP, Funds & Asset Managers customer relationships, maximising sustainable income and client profitability through providing excellent service and becoming recognised as a trusted advisor to clients.
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Minimum of 8 years of experience of client relationship coverage, delivering FX, cash management products and services to Insurance companies, FinTech & PSP, Funds & Asset Managers clients
Strong C-Suite / Senior Treasury decision maker level relationships
Local / regional market experience of covering clients in this sector
Originator with an ability to independently lead and drive his/her own portfolio
Good understanding of Transaction Banking products as well as credit risk and lending experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
The Fintech team has a FinTech Training and Accreditation Plan in place, which the successful candidate will be expected to complete as a priority after joining in order to gain specific knowledge of how we cover clients in this sector.
The candidate should be already experienced in leading complex client relationships and/or in a coverage role with exposure to complex clients and has a demonstrable ability to support such relationships with confidence.
Requires a good knowledge of corporate banking products and services including those linked to cash management and FX solutions being particularly relevant to the role.
Credit Skills are required.
Leadership of others.
Understanding of Fintech and regulated Non-Bank Payment Service Providers market, the different client types we serve.
Experience of dealing with High Risk client sectors.
