Explore locationJoin us as a Tax Operations Analyst, where you will shape the future of Banking at Barclays by managing the function to deliver first-class service to stakeholders and customers, facilitating timely and accurate tax reporting, returns, relief and reclaim processes, managing associated operational risks and ensuring the function meets its objectives.
To be successful as a Tax Operations Analyst, you should have:
Advanced knowledge of Tax Operations, including a clear understanding of operational tax processes and associated risks.
A high level of attention to detail, with the ability to organise and prioritise work effectively in a time‑sensitive, regulated environment.
Confident problem‑solving skills, applying technical experience and established guidance to identify and implement solutions.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables).
The ability to take ownership of tasks, work independently when needed, and contribute positively to team goals.
A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, delivering work to a high standard within a fast‑paced environment.
