Join our Multi Channel Applications (MCA) platform team and play a key role in shaping the CI/CD strategy for experiences that impact millions of customers and colleagues. As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll take ownership of our end-to-end CI/CD roadmap on Kubernetes/OpenShift, automate workflows using Python and Shell, and drive excellence in release quality.
To be successful as a DevOps Engineer, you should have experience with:
Full end-to-end CI/CD roadmap ownership – designing, implementing, governing, and continuously optimising pipelines and automation.
Containers & Kubernetes – building, deploying, and operating on OpenShift/Kubernetes.
Scripting expertise – automating and integrating pipelines using Python and Shell.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Observability tools – ELK, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
Progressive delivery techniques – blue-green deployments, canary releases, feature flags.
Cloud proficiency – working with OpenShift and EKS.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is based in Knutsford.
