Explore locationJoin Barclays as a Release Train Engineer, where you will lead and coach Scrum Masters and Feature Teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support. You will drive technical excellence, foster a culture of innovation, and continuously optimise delivery flow to ensure high-quality software solutions.
To be successful as a Release Train Engineer, you should have experience with:
Agile Coaching & Facilitation - Leading Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies, coach teams on Agile principles, and drive continuous improvement to optimise delivery flow and operational efficiency.
Dependency & Risk Management - Identifying, tracking, and resolving cross-team dependencies and risks to ensure seamless delivery and strategic alignment.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement - Facilitating collaboration, manage expectations, and maintain clear, consistent communication across all levels of the organisation.
Other highly valued skills include:
Extensive experience coaching Scrum Masters and Feature Teams on Agile principles and leading key ART events.
Solid background in programme or release management.
Proven ability to manage complex dependencies across large-scale organisations.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role has the option to work from the following locations: Knutsford or London, Luke Street.
