To be successful as a Wealth Manager, you should have experience with:
- relationship management, especially handling the sophisticated needs of a professional client base (for example law, accountancy and insurance professionals),
- you need to be RDR level 4 qualified, preferably having passed exams enabling them to provide financial advice in the UK against FCA activities 2 and 3 or 4,
- broad experience of the Financial Services industry, in the areas of Retail regulated products/services to mass market and high net worth customers, and asset management.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- financial planning,
- excellent communication and presentation skills.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is based in Leeds.
This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
