Join us as a Commercial Performance Manager, on a 12-month contract, in our Acquiring Payments team, where you’ll deliver commercial insight and analytics for our acquiring business.  You’ll lead on, monthly performance reporting,  performance analytics across our proprietary client base, and support business cases . As a go-to SME for commercial performance on income,  turnover & other drivers, you’ll play a key role in pushing  commercial performance and identifying growth opportunities.

Essential skills and qualifications:

  • Solid financial literacy with a clear understanding of income key commercial drivers such as spend / clients / segments

  • Confident working with Excel, financial models, and data analytics

  • Experienced in producing and interpreting performance reports and insights

  • Commercially minded with strong business acumen and the ability to identify opportunities and risks

  • Able to present insights clearly to different audiences

  • Effective stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs to deadlines

Desirable skills and qualifications:

  • Experience within the payments or acquiring industry

  • Understanding of commercial planning, including revenue forecasting and identifying key commercial drivers

  • Ability to forecast, model, and plan based on performance and financial data

This role is based in London or Northampton.

Purpose of the role

To extract meaningful insights from complex data sets, developing robust decision models, and presenting actionable recommendations to stakeholders across the departments. 

Accountabilities

  • Identification and extraction of relevant data from various internal and external sources.
  • Performing sensitivity analysis and scenario planning.
  • Monitoring and evaluation of the performance of existing models.
  • Development and implementation of data quality control procedures.
  • Building and validation of quantitative models to support decision-making across different business areas.
