• Own performance of the end-to-end journeys (e.g. dropout rates, customer satisfaction)
• Design product roadmap
• Design journey improvement (strategic and continuous improvement)
• Run end to end journey change management prioritisation across all insurance journeys including flagging and managing dependencies and risks
• Run collateral management
• Run regulatory compliance of the journeys, controls and identification and resolution of issues (e.g. ORACs)
• Run relevant first line of defence controls, procedures, and issue management
Key Activities
• Identify and monitor outcomes and KPIs across all journeys (e.g., application, onboarding, servicing)
• Design and execute the product roadmap, balancing innovation, customer needs, and market competitiveness
• Deliver and manage own-brand and partnership savings products, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence
• Manage journey partnership hand-offs (e.g. embedded partner journey) and monitor compliance to SLAs escalating and resolving where required
• Drive journey improvements aligned with the Journey Operating Governance & Control framework
• Document risks and issues in RCOMs
• Complete quarterly and annual reviews including Consumer Duty Assessments
Purpose of the role
To manage and develop existing and new products and/or services; and where applicable, ownership of related customer and colleague journeys, develops the product strategy, drive change through Barclays execution teams, make key decisions in the product lifecycle and own associated outcomes for customers, colleagues and the bank, achieved through appropriate service level agreements, regulatory compliance, risk management and controls.
