As an Internal Funds Product Manager, you’ll act as a core strategic product owner in supporting the PBWM strategic growth agenda. Within this strategic context, you will be responsible for the end-to-end product design and ownership for a sub-range within the Barclays Manufactured Funds product continuum. You will have responsibility for the ongoing delivery of a Fund value proposition with embedment into the PBWM investment continuum that delivers both sustainable commercial outcomes for the Barclays Group and continues to meet the annual assessment of investor value criteria.

To succeed as an Internal Funds Product Manager, you’ll need:

  • Knowledge of cross asset class investment strategies within a Fund Management product offering 
  • Experience in strategic product design and delivery relating to a Fund Management manufactured product set.
  • Understanding of investment proposition spanning digital, affluent and high net worth investor segments 
  • Knowledge of cross jurisdictional regulatory environment relating to Fund Management manufactured product
  • Effectively managing complex cross organisational networks within a global business setting
  • Undergraduate degree level qualification

Desirable skills include:

  • Self-starter with proven ability to proactively problem solve in driving product improvement 
  • Knowledge of competitive landscape relating to UK and / or overseas Fund Management product offerings 
  • Desire to deepen investment knowledge through further investment professional qualifications.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst and or Investment Management Certificate and or master’s degree.

This role will be located in Canary Wharf, London.

Purpose of the role

To develop and manage the success of specific financial products and services, providing in-depth expertise on a particular product line, bridging the gap between product development, marketing, sales, and customer service. 

Accountabilities

  • Provision of SME expertise on specific products and services to customers and colleagues, including features, functionalities, benefits, limitations, risks and compliance.
  • Identification of market trends, new features, regulatory requirements and potential risks, and analysis of data obtained from sales figures and, customer feedback, to support the product development process, and communicate key findings to relevant stakeholders to improve product offerings.
  • Response to customer inquiries, resolution of issues, and provision of guidance on product usage.  .
  • Presentation of the advantages and features of the product to potential customers, building trust and encouraging adoption.
  • Assistance with the development and execution of marketing materials for the product, such as brochures, presentations, and online content.
  • Participation in training sessions and workshops to share product knowledge and expertise with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Participation in events, conferences, and other networking opportunities to showcase the product and generate interest.
