Explore locationJoin the Business Banking Product and Propositions team as a Product Owner, where you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a pivotal part of the transformation agenda by driving the transformation and change requirements across the Business Banking product proposition. This role boasts an opportunity for the successful hire to take accountability for their product and the change requirements, where you will use your market and commercial awareness to present suitable proposals. In line with the Barclays Risk Framework, the successful hire will have an appetite for driving change within compliance agreements.
To be successful as a Product Owner, you should have the following experience:
Previous experience in product ownership, with the ability to manage the full product lifecycle, from ideation through to launch.
Experience in driving product delivery, with the ability to plan, execute, and optimize product development processes to meet business objectives and customer needs.
Great commercial acumen, with the ability to quickly assess business opportunities and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Solid experience of managing and delivering change.
Some other highly valued skills include:
Knowledge of Business Banking products and services.
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role will be based in London or Knutsford.
Purpose of the role
To manage and develop existing and new products and/or services; and where applicable, ownership of related customer and colleague journeys, develops the product strategy, drive change through Barclays execution teams, make key decisions in the product lifecycle and own associated outcomes for customers, colleagues and the bank, achieved through appropriate service level agreements, regulatory compliance, risk management and controls.
