Explore locationWe’re looking for a Senior Data & Records Governance Lead at Barclays where you will be implementing and operating data governance framework for group control based on banks data and records standards. This is a critical role that sits at the intersection of risk, control, data integrity and regulatory compliance - with a mandate to ensure Barclays meets both internal standards and global regulatory expectations.
To be successful as a Senior Data & Records Governance Lead, you should have experience with:
Banking industry experience, ideally within large matrixed organisations.
Deep knowledge of data governance frameworks, data risk management and regulatory expectations such as BCBS 239.
Previous experience in implementing and operating data governance controls.
Previous experience implementing risk and control frameworks within the context of data and records management.
Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across business, technology and risk functions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex data topics to diverse audiences.
Proven track record of driving organisational change within data management and governance.

This role will be located at our London Office.
