Explore locationJoin us as an Equity-Linked and Financing Solutions Analyst (ELFS) at Barclays, where you’ll play a key role in all aspects of originating and executing equity-linked transactions. This includes working with, and advising, publicly traded companies on their capital structure to execute convertible debt offerings, structured share repurchases and hedging or monetization trades, among other equity-linked transactions. Furthermore, you will help negotiate, structure and lend in facilities to private equity firms against their equity stakes in public and private companies. You’ll be in constant dialogue with our capital markets products, investment banking coverage and equity sales and trading partners, coordinating to target clients, prepare pitch presentations for new and existing clients, perform analysis and valuations, run internal approval processes, understand and help prepare documentation for transactions, and become a central member of deal teams executing equity linked capital raises. ELFS sits at the intersection of the Barclays push for increased collaboration between Banking & Markets divisions.
To be successful as an Equity-Linked and Financing Solutions Analyst, you should have:
Bachelor’s degree
Ample analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently across a product suite with varying paces of workstreams
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience in a finance role
Previous experience executing capital markets transactions
Familiarity with equity derivatives
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in New York.
This role is FINRA regulated.
Minimum Salary: $110,000
Maximum Salary: $135,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

To raise capital and manage the financial risk of clients, including financial advisory services, identification and origination of market opportunities, research, economic analysis.
