Explore locationJoin Barclays as a Film Specialist AVP within the Group Brand and Marketing team, where you'll have the chance to shape the visual direction of our brand through high‑impact storytelling and best‑in‑class film production. You’ll execute end‑to‑end filmmaking from our New York studio, partnering on the creative concept through to final delivery, producing compelling content for leadership communications, internal campaigns, and strategic initiatives. In this role, you’ll bring hands‑on expertise across filming, directing, and post‑production to ensure every piece aligns with Barclays’ visual identity and quality standards. You’ll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and global partners in an agile environment, managing feedback, timelines, and expectations to deliver polished, consistent outputs. Additionally, you’ll help elevate our creative culture through skills mentoring and championing efficient workflows, seamless cross‑functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.
To be successful as Film Specialist AVP, you should have:
Extensive professional experience across film production, including directing, camera operation, sound, lighting, autocue and delivering high‑quality content under tight timelines.
Advanced pre‑ and post‑production expertise, with strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud tools - particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders and collaborating across global, distributed teams and time zones.
Highly organized approach to project execution, including meticulous management of assets, files, and deliverables, as well as confidence in bringing the Barclays brand to life.
Other highly valued skills include:
Experience leading or mentoring a small film or creative production team, fostering skills development and high‑quality output.
Working knowledge of AI‑driven film and design tools, with the ability to integrate emerging capabilities into production workflows.
Experience working in partnership with agencies to ensure consistency and quality across formats.
Demonstrated digital design proficiency (InDesign), complemented by skills in stills photography to support broader creative needs.

This role is based in New York, NY.
Minimum Salary: $100,000
Maximum Salary: $135,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate above information includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
