In this role, you will support the team in market-making, risk, and pricing across a broad spectrum of convertible securities. You'll work closely with both sales and trading to optimize profitability from client flow while guiding capital and liquidity risk. You will bring ample product knowledge, particularly around convertibles, and mandatories, as well as an ability to stay current on credit markets and macro developments. You will interact with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient trade execution and build strategic relationships. Success in this role demands analytical skills, and a high level of self-motivation in a high-pressure environment.
To be successful as an US Convertible Trading AVP, you should have:
FINRA Series 7, Series 63, and SIE licenses preferred
Understanding of convertible bonds and mandatories
Proficiency in credit analysis, including both quantitative and qualitative metrics
Experience with Bloomberg, Excel (VBA), and market data tools
Ability to manage market risk and liquidity as part of a market-making function

This role is located in our New York, NY office.
This role is FINRA regulated.
Minimum Salary: $125,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

To execute trades and manage risk within a defined portfolio of financial instruments and staying informed about market trends and developments to make informed trading decisions.
