Explore locationStep into the role of Lending Ops Analyst at Barclays, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future. In this pivotal role you will manage operations within a business area and maintain processes, risk management initiatives, and compliance with relevant regulators. You will take ownership of your work, ensuring it aligns with the relevant rules & regulations, and codes of conduct.
You will focus on supporting end-to-end execution of lending transactions, from post-sanction fulfilment through facility setup, documentation, drawdown, and ongoing servicing activities. The role focuses on delivering operational excellence, managing complex lending cases, and ensuring compliance with regulatory, legal, and internal control requirements within Barclays.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role such as:
Manage lending cases through the full operational lifecycle, including facility setup, documentation review, limit creation, and loan drawdowns.
Coordinate with Credit Mangers, Relationship Mangers, Legal, and Operations team to ensure timely completion of lending transactions.
Review lending requests and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with approved credit terms and internal policies.
Act as a key point of contact for resolving operational issues, driving cases to completion, and meeting client delivery timelines.
Support process improvement initiatives by identifying efficiencies, strengthening controls, and enhancing operational effectiveness.
Desirable skills set:
Strong knowledge of lending operations, loan lifecycle management, and post-sanction fulfilment processes.
Experience handling facility documentation, loan servicing, drawdowns, and collateral-related activities.
Strong analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
