Embark on a transformative journey as a VP, Project Arthur - Conformance, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Governance and Oversight team which focuses on enhancing presence of assurance practices in India other than Control Testing. You will a crucial role in stakeholder management, building effective relationships and promoting collaborative communication. The team facilitates decision-making processes and supports transformation projects by incorporating stakeholder input.

To be successful as a VP, Project Arthur - Conformance, you should have experience with:

  • Business Acumen related to the principal Risk.
  • Team Management experience is a must.
  • Extensive experience in managing stakeholders, presenting to senior leaders, and providing robust solutions in a risk and control capacity within major financial organizations.
  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree with CA, FRM, IRM, associated qualifications related to Risk Management
  • Banking Industry experience.

The location of the role is Mumbai & Noida, IN. There are multiple positions in this requisition ID.

Purpose of the role

To oversee that the bank operates in adherence to established framework, policies, and standards, laws, rules, regulations, and internal controls.

Accountabilities

  • Analysis of processes, transactions, and activities across various business units to assess adherence to policies, regulations, and internal controls.
  • Interviews, documentation review, and data analysis to gather evidence of compliance.
  • Identification and reporting of deviations or non-conformities, documenting findings and recommendations for corrective action.
  • Analysis of the effectiveness of existing controls and recommend enhancements to strengthen the control environment.

Vice President Expectations

  • Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross functional areas of impact and alignment.
  • Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of the organisation functions to contribute to achieving the goals of the business.
  • Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies.
  • Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives. In-depth analysis with interpretative thinking will be required to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Adopt and include the outcomes of extensive research in problem solving processes.
  • Seek out, build and maintain trusting relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders in order to accomplish key business objectives, using influencing and negotiating skills to achieve outcomes.
