Explore locationJoin Barclays as VP - Senior Financial Crime Manager where you'll provide first class support by managing accountabilities delegated from the BUK Head of Financial Crime. At Barclays - we're on a mission to transform banking. Your role will hold the responsibility of serving as a gateway to BUK for financial crime. You will also be expected to liaise with senior stakeholders on a diverse range of issues regarding financial crime risk management oversight.
To be successful in this role, you should have,
Ability to promote a culture of financial crime compliance, including the ability to build relationships and collaborations with all levels of management within the First and Second Line.
Experience of working with stakeholders at Directors/MD level.
Experience in demonstrating effective management and action, particularly in the role of the Second Line of Defence influencing the actions of management in the First Line.
Significant experience of delivering high quality anti money laundering support, with day-to-day interaction with senior executives.
Some other highly valued skills may include,
Demonstrating good technical skills in UK financial crime law and regulation.
Solid understanding and working knowledge of financial crime risk and responsibilities.
Ability to move effortlessly between strategic topics to day-to-day regulatory risks.
Professional qualifications relevant to financial crime and/or relevant legal qualifications.
Good understanding of industry best practice in respect of financial crime risk tools and developments within the regulatory environment.

This role is based in our Noida office.
Purpose of the role
To provide data-led expert oversight and check and challenge on business and compliance matters to evidence that the organisation is operating in a compliance with Barclays legal, regulatory and ethical responsibilities.
