Explore locationJoin us as a Java DevOps Engineer at Barclays, where you'll be part of a greenfield project ASGARD with the objective of building a new global platform that will facilitate the development and operation of components for the electronic trading of various asset classes. Most of the development will happen in Prague and for that purpose, a new team is being formed.
You would be responsible for optimizing java build systems, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, monitoring system performance and generally collaborating with development teams to streamline the software development lifecycle.
To be successful as a Java DevOps Engineer, you should have experience with:
•Java programming
• Java build tools such as Maven, Gradle or Bazel
•CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab, Jenkins, TeamCity)
Some other highly valued skills may include:
•Experience with Ansible for automation and good knowledge of Git
•Familiarity with containerization technologies
• Knowledge of Linux or other UNIX-based systems

This role will be based in our Prague office
