Explore locationJoin us as Senior Data Engineer at Barclays where you'll spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for development, code reviews, unit testing and implementation of data-related projects using AWS ETL Tools. You will convert business requirements into technical artifacts and contribute to the design, development, and enhancement as per the application roadmap.
To be successful as a Senior Data Engineer, you should have the following skills:
• Expertise in using SQL and Python for complex ETL pipelines
• Strong experience with AWS services, preferably S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, etc. for ETL solutions, or experience with Azure/GCP
• Knowledge of Databricks, Snowflake, PySpark, and DBT
• Knowledge or experience in relevant big data technologies
Some other highly valued skills may include:
• Experience in migrating ETL pipelines from on-premises systems to the cloud
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies
• Previous experience with people leadership

The successful candidate will work from Prague.

To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.
