Explore locationJoin us as a mid-weight UX/Product Designer (Equities) at Barclays where you'll be contributing to an ambitious programme to modernise and build a new Trading & Sales platform for Front Office, driving innovation and excellence. You must be comfortable working directly with users on the desk and quickly grasping business requirements and concepts. The role focuses on UI / Visual Design and handover to development, but it is expected that you would demonstrate appropriate user research and UX process to achieve the most successful outcomes.
To be successful as a UX/Product Designer (Equities), you should have:
• A portfolio of work that can be presented, demonstrating experience in designing data driven UI’s e.g. dashboards or financial applications
• Strong data visualisation experience, in particular datagrids (e.g working with ag-grid)
• Very strong Figma UI design skills using auto-layout, components, etc
• Demonstrate experience working on web applications (desktop / mobile) rather than websites
Some other highly valued skills may include:
• Experience of enterprise UX - designing for colleague-to-colleague internal applications
• Experience of establishing and working with design systems and design tokens
• An appetitive for learning about trading & finance
• Good technical understanding of how designs are implemented in code in particular Angular/React

This role will be based in our Prague office.
