Explore locationJoin us as UX/Product Designer at Barclays, where you'll be embarking on an ambitious programme to modernise and build a new Trading & Sales platform. We are looking for a mid-level Product Designer (UX/UI) who has had experience of designing in data-intensive environments. There will be an emphasis on UI & visual design skills with a focus on developer handover in Figma. Key to the success of the projects will be designing applications that reflect the users’ workflows and interactions and so being open to learning about trading in Front-Office environments is a must. You must be comfortable working directly with users on the desk and quickly grasping business requirements and concepts.
To be successful as a UX/Product Designer, you should have experience with:
• A portfolio of work that can be presented, demonstrating extensive experience in designing data-rich web applications (dashboards etc)
• An ability to interact directly with front office users and product owners and can turn their requirements into product designs together with the ability to present designs confidently to senior managers and stakeholders
• Strong Figma UI design skills (Autolayout, components, prototyping, etc)
Some other highly valued skills may include:
• Experience of finance or data-driven environments
• Experience of establishing and working with design systems and design tokens
• Good technical understanding of how designs are implemented in code (HTML/CSS etc)

This role will be based in our Prague office.
