To be successful in this roleyou shouldpossess:
Strong understanding ofLLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, and context engineering.
Knowledge ofMCP (Model Context Protocol)design and integration patterns.
Ability to buildAI-ready retrieval pipelinesfor structured and unstructured data.
Understandingprompt/context construction, grounding, and output control.
Data modeling, schema design, transformation, and orchestration.
Experience with APIs, event-driven integration,batch,and streaming pipelines.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Strong hands-on experience indata engineering and data pipelineswithexpertiseinstructured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
Deep understanding ofrole-based and policy-based access controlwith strong knowledge ofmetadata management.
Experience withdata lineage, provenance, ownership, classification, and freshness trackingbuildingscalable, resilient, production-grade integrations.
Knowledge of latency, performance optimization, resiliency, and cost management.
Familiarity with cloud and platform ecosystems such as AWS / Azure / GCP.
