To be successful in this role, you should have below skills:
Core Java: Demonstrated expertise in core Java concepts including multi-threading, garbage collection, data structures, and object-oriented programming principles. Proven track record in developing low-latency, high-throughput applications with optimized performance through advanced memory management, thread optimization, and strategic data structure implementation.
Legacy System Modernization: Proven ability to rapidly analyze and comprehend legacy application codebases with minimal guidance. Skilled in architecting modernized solutions leveraging industry-standard design patterns and best practices to enhance maintainability and scalability.
Spring Framework: Proficient in Spring Boot development with comprehensive understanding of Spring Core principles and dependency injection patterns.
Some other highly valued skills may include below:
Messaging & Middleware Technologies • Hands-on experience with JMS and enterprise messaging platforms, including Solace and Kafka, for building robust asynchronous communication systems.
DevOps & Build Tools • Strong proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and build automation tools (Gradle, Maven).
Unix/Linux • Solid command-line proficiency with Unix-based systems and shell scripting capabilities.
