To be successful as a Data Engineer – DevOps you should have experience with:
Experience in ETL deployment, change management, or production support roles.
Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Ab Initio or similar) and AWS services (S3, EC2, Redshift).
Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data integration, and orchestration in cloud environments.
Experience managing code promotion between environments using GitLab and controlled release processes.
Proficiency in UNIX/Linux, shell scripting, and SQL.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and infrastructure automation.
Good understanding of release governance, change control, and incident management processes (ITIL framework preferred).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Some other highly valued skills includes:
Knowledge of AWS Glue, Lambda, or Step Functions for ETL orchestration.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) for environment setup.
Exposure to Agile/DevOps methodologies for data engineering.
Familiarity with Ab Initio Express>It, Metadata Hub, or Data Profiler.

This role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.
