To be successful as a Data Engineer, you should have experience with:
Strong hands-on experience in Programming Languages and Analytical/Critical thinking.
Python (backend development, frameworks like Django/Flask/FastAPI).
Oracle/SQL (database design, query optimization, stored procedures).
Frontend technologies (React/Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).
RESTful API design and development.
CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.
GitLab (version control, CI/CD pipelines, merge requests).
Unix/Linux command line and shell scripting.
Understanding of Data Masking and Anonymisation techniques.
Experience with algorithms for Synthetic Data Generation.
Competence in Data Modelling and schema design.
Awareness of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Familiarity with test data management tools such as Delphix, K2View, GenRocket, Synthesized etc.
Ability to integrate with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflow.
SonarQube for code quality.
Understanding of cloud platforms.
Ability to work in agile environments.
Unit and integration testing.

The role is based out Pune.

To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.
