To be successful as a “Data Engineer", you should have experience with:
Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
ETL Tools: Proficiency in Ab Initio (GDE, EME, Co>Operating System) for graph development, debugging, and performance tuning.
Unix/Linux Scripting: Ability to write and debug shell scripts for job orchestration.
SQL & PL/SQL: Querying skills for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
Scheduling Tools: Familiarity with Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) or similar.
Testing & QA: Exposure to SIT, E2E, and OAT testing cycles.
Agile Delivery: Experience with JIRA for sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery tracking.
Minimum Qualification – bachelor’s degree.
Desirable skillsets/ good to have:
Document Databases: Working knowledge of MongoDB or any other document databases.
Messaging Systems: Experience with IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, or similar message queue technologies.
Security & Compliance: Awareness of access control, vulnerability assessments, and audit readiness
Experience required 10 + Years.
This role will be based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure.
