As Detection Engineering Lead you will be responsible for proactive mitigation of Barclays Attack Surface for new and emerging cyber threats.
To be successful as a Detection Engineering Lead, you should have experience with:
Development of detective controls across a variety of security tooling in an enterprise environment
Experience in gathering Threat Intelligence & leveraging the Intelligence Lifecycle to defend an organisation
Experience of Threat Hunting within a Corporate Network
Experience in Threat Tracking & Countermeasure Development
Prior experience working alongside a Corporate Red Team function
Some other highly valued skills may include
Knowledge of Cyber Kill Chain & Mitre Attack Phases
Intelligence Driven Defence
Security Operations and Security Architecture
Experience in engineering, operations or architecture
Experience in Breach & Attack Simulation Platforms
Experience in Penetration Testing Fundamentals
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as experience with Threat Hunting, Threat Tracking & counter measure development, as well as job-specific skillsets.
This role will be based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To monitor the performance of operational controls, implement and manage security controls and consider lessons learnt in order to protect the bank from potential cyber-attacks and respond to threats.
