To be successful as DevOps Java Developer you should have experience with:
Strong Java programming skills (Java 8+)
Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL
Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
Knowledge of data integration tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Camel, Spring Integration)
Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Gitlab)
Design and implement robust Java applications to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse sources.
Develop RESTful APIs and web services to facilitate data exchange between systems.
Optimize database queries and data processing algorithms for improved performance.
Implement data validation and error handling mechanisms to ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and sources.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)
Familiarity with message queues (e.g., Kafka, IBM MQ)
Understanding of data privacy and security best practices
