Engineer

To be successful as an Engineer you should have experience with:  

• UI Development: Build and maintain scalable, performant UI components using Angular, React, and React Native.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Hands-on experience with Angular and React frameworks for web applications.

• Proficiency in React Native for mobile app development, including knowledge of native components and APIs.

• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Context API) and third-party plugins.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services.

• Knowledge of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.

• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Testing & Quality: Implement unit and integration tests for UI components; maintain code quality standards.

• Collaboration: Work closely with backend developers, designers, and product owners to deliver integrated solutions.

• Performance Optimisation: Ensure UI performance through efficient coding, hot reloading, and leveraging native APIs where applicable.

• Develop mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native, ensuring near-native performance, and leveraging reusable components.

This role is based out of Pune.

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
