As a Engineering Lead - Complaints & Advocacy, you are responsible for providing Complaints Platforms and work on future strategic roadmap of the Platform .
To be successful as an Engineering Lead - Complaints & Advocacy, you should have experience with,
- End-to-end software development lifecycle, Software development methodologies, e.g. waterfall, agile. Awareness of leading-edge tools, techniques and services within IT.
- Software development consisting of some of the languages and technologies such as Java (Servlets), J2EE Frameworks (Spring, Springboot, Hibernate), Python, AI / ML, Databases (Oracle / DB2 / SQL), API – REST / RAML / OAS, JQuery / HTML5 / CSS, XML & XML Java Parsers (xsd, dtd), Application servers, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS / Apaas), Version Control Software (Stash / Bitbucket).
- Responsible for interacting with staff across the Business and IT functions including but not limited to IT Architects, Service Managers, Technology Project Managers, Business Change Managers, SI Partners and 3rd parties, GTS, & GTIS.
- Provide input to the Product/Project Manager(s) to help identify and engage the engineering resources needed to ensure the success of the project.

This role is based in Pune.
Purpose of the role
To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities
- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
