To be successful as an “Infrastructure Engineer", you should have experience with:
Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
Good knowledge of VMWare Cloud Foundation.
Support day-to-day operations of VMware infrastructure including ESXi hosts and vCenter environments.
Support patching, upgrades, and firmware activities across the virtualization estate.
Contribute to automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
Participate in troubleshooting and resolution of incidents related to virtualization and underlying infrastructure.
Awareness of monitoring tools such as vRealize Operations or similar platforms.
Desirable skillsets/ good to have:
Exposure to NSX and HCX.
Awareness of vRealize Automation / Orchestration tool.
Basic understanding of CI/CD practices.
This role will be based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To build and maintain infrastructure platforms and products that support applications and data systems, using hardware, software, networks, and cloud computing platforms as required with the aim of ensuring that the infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure. Ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of the systems, platforms, and technology through the application of software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response.
