Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

  • Must have bachelor’s degree.
  • AWS SME (Subject Matter Expert)

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions. Expertise in core AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch is essential. Strong knowledge of networking, security best practices, and compliance frameworks within AWS environments. Proven experience in architecting scalable, highly available, and cost-optimized solutions using AWS Well-Architected Framework. Proficiency in automation tools (Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices. Ability to troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and provide strategic guidance on migration, modernization, and cloud governance. AWS certifications like AWS Solutions Architect.

  • Azure SME (Subject Matter Expert)

The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in architecting and managing Microsoft Azure cloud environments. Deep expertise in Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Networking, Azure Active Directory, App Services, AKS, and Azure SQL Database. Strong understanding of security, identity management, and compliance standards in Azure. Experience in designing enterprise-grade solutions, implementing hybrid cloud strategies, and leveraging Azure DevOps for CI/CD automation. Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Terraform) and monitoring solutions like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics. Ability to lead cloud migration projects, optimize costs, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery. Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are preferred.

  • GCP SME (Subject Matter Expert)

The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing Google Cloud Platform solutions. Deep expertise in core GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Pub/Sub. Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance frameworks within GCP environments. Proven ability to architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient solutions leveraging GCP best practices. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure such as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies. Skilled in data analytics and machine learning services like BigQuery ML and AI Platform. Ability to lead cloud migration, modernization, and multi-cloud integration projects. GCP certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer are highly desirable.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Experience with CI/CD tools like CloudFormation, Jenkins, Gitlab, Chef, In Spec, and Terraform for automated deployments and infrastructure as code.
  • Ability to develop automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and custom tools to streamline repetitive cloud operations tasks.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools for multi-cloud environments, such as Stack driver (GCP), CloudWatch (AWS), and Azure Monitor, including log analysis and custom alerting.

This role is based out of Pune.

Purpose of the role

To effectively monitor and maintain the bank’s critical technology infrastructure and resolve more complex technical issues, whilst minimising disruption to operations. 

Accountabilities

  • Provision of technical support for the service management function to resolve more complex issues for a specific client of group of clients. Develop the support model and service offering to improve the service to customers and stakeholders.
  • Execution of preventative maintenance tasks on hardware and software and utilisation of monitoring tools/metrics to identify, prevent and address potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintenance of a knowledge base containing detailed documentation of resolved cases for future reference, self-service opportunities and knowledge sharing.
  • Analysis of system logs, error messages and user reports to identify the root causes of hardware, software and network issues, and providing a resolution to these issues by fixing or replacing faulty hardware components, reinstalling software, or applying configuration changes.
  • Automation, monitoring enhancements, capacity management, resiliency, business continuity management, front office specific support and stakeholder management.
  • Identification and remediation or raising, through appropriate process, of potential service impacting risks and issues.
  • Proactively assess support activities implementing automations where appropriate to maintain stability and drive efficiency. Actively tune monitoring tools, thresholds, and alerting to ensure issues are known when they occur.
