Join us as a Remediation Portfolio Delivery Lead at Barclays. You'll spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. The Remediation Delivery Lead is responsible for overseeing the delivery of critical remediation projects across CAPL.This role ensures that delivery plans areconsolidated, feasibility is assessed, and course corrections are recommended where necessary. The role acts as a delivery enabler, providing visibility, structure, and momentum toprogrammesthat require heightened oversight due to complexity, risk, or prior delivery challenges.

To be successful as Remediation Portfolio Delivery Lead you should have experience with:  

  • Experience in project or delivery management, ideally within a technology or infrastructure environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Excel (including data manipulation).
  • Broad knowledge of development roadmaps and infrastructure principles.
  • Experience working with cross-functional delivery teams and influencing without direct authority.
  • Ensure remediationprogrammesalign with compliance and risk expectations, including ORACs with strict scope and timing constraints.
  • Proven ability to manage complex delivery environments and drive outcomes through collaboration and structured oversight.
  • Operate within defined governance frameworks, contributing to their ongoing maturity and effectiveness.

Purpose of the role

Focused on delivering individual projects, ensuring completion within scope, time, and budget with a more immediate focus. 

Accountabilities

  • Scope Management: Manages a single project with specific, defined objectives, deadlines, and deliverables. Their focus is on completing the project on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Strategic Focus: Operates more tactically, focusing on day-to-day management of resources, schedules, and deliverables for their individual project.
  • Time Horizon: Works with a shorter, more defined timeframe as projects have a set beginning and end.
  • Stakeholder Management: Primarily manages stakeholders related to their specific project, ensuring communication and expectations are clear for the project’s deliverables.
  • Risk and Issue Management:  Focuses on risks and issues specific to their project and works to mitigate them within the project’s scope.
  • Resource Management: Manages resources for their individual project, ensuring that the project team has the necessary skills, tools, and time to complete the work.
