To be successful as a “Senior QA Automation Engineer", you should have experience with:
Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
Experience developing Automation tests of both Front End (HTML5/ desktop applications) and back end processes:
Working knowledge with Selenium / RestAssured / TestNg / Ranorex with Java development is a plus
Working experience developing test automation in Java with TestNg or Junit
Working experience with Test Automation of REST, Messaging and DB testing (also using Java TestNg).
Intermediate SQL
Proven Agile experience (preferably Scrum/Kanban)
Hands-on knowledge of test tools used in test management and defect reporting
Desirable skillsets/ good to have:
Knowledge of HTTP protocol, SOAP, JSON and web services
Experience with CI/CD methods (“Platform Automation”, JIRA, TeamCity. Maven and APIs)
This role will be based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, to ensure software quality and reliability.
