Hybrid Working 
Structured hybrid role:    
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home.  We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction 
The overall responsibility of the role is to identify, assess, report on and drive the remediation of Vulnerabilities for mitigating security risks. To ensure that Cyber security is effectively implemented across the cloud platforms as well as other technology platforms and that all technology teams understand the importance of security compliance and raising awareness.

What will you be doing?
•    An SME at identifying and risk rating vulnerabilities and security weaknesses across all technology and environments
•    Responsible for Vulnerability Identification coverage gap mitigation and findings accuracy 
•    Maintain relationships with Vulnerability Management Solutions Providers and technology partners
•    Responsible for Thematic issue tracking, resolution, and reporting
•    Responsible for Vulnerability Identification  & remediation Incident Management & Response
•    Key contributor to the Vulnerability scanning strategy development. 
•    Responsible for timely Issue/impact escalation and continuous update to Senior Executive Leadership 
•    Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
•    Supporting the identification, assessment, and monitoring of risks within the region, collaborating with regional teams and subject matter experts to ensure comprehensive risk coverage
•    Interface with business units to provide guidance, support and awareness
•    Perform security and compliance assessments
•    Stay updated about organizational policy/standard changes
•    Support internal and external audit process
•    Implementing agreed solutions/processes

What we’re looking for:
•    Minimum 17 years of experience in information Security out of which minimum 7 years’ experience in Vulnerability Management
•    Advanced hands-on experience managing an Industry Leading Vulnerability Identification Scanning Solution
•    Familiarity with mainstream attacker techniques, tactics, and procedures (i.e., MITRE ATT&CK Framework)
•    Superior sense of urgency and ability to effectively prioritize deliverables

Skills that will help you in the role:
•    Experience of building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders through strong communication skills, both written and verbal
•    Understanding of Risk management processes (e.g. analysis, identification, assessing and mitigating risk)
•    Analytical and problem-solving skills, analysing and reviewing security issues identified
•    Knowledge of industry best practices/benchmarks e.g. CIS, NIST 
•    Relevant information risk qualifications e.g. CISSP, CCSP
•    Strong communication and collaboration skills
•    Tenable, Qualys, Prisma and Tanium experience
