To be successful as a “Site Reliability Engineer - Specialized Infrastructure", you should have experience with:
Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
Experience building, configuring, and maintaining production environments, including standard networking preferably RHEL as OS.
Expert knowledge of administration of Redhat Products, especially RHEL 7/8/9
Experience in using Chef or similar (ansible, puppet) for end-to-end server configuration management.
Experience in scripting and automating complex tasks.
Expert knowledge of server side networking (TCP/UDP/Multicast).
Knowledge of Kubernetes operations
Desirable skillsets/ good to have:
Strong analytical reasoning and problem solving skills, with the ability to assess production impact and risk
Strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills
Self-motivated and comfortable making decisions without the need for immediate supervision
Background in managing and troubleshooting low-latency trading environments, including an understanding of Linux internals, and preferably with Solarflare/Onload
This role will be based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To apply software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response, to ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of the systems, platforms, and technology through them.
