To be successful as a Software Engineer, you should have experience with:
Experience is designing high performance applicationmaintaining the quality parameters.
Java v.8+ and above. Must have solid understanding of Core Java, Collections, Concurrency. Experience in memory management, profiling, etc.
Working experience in Rest Services / Microservices/ Microservice design patterns
Working experience on Spring Boot v.2+ or v.3+, Spring framework such as Spring MVC, IOC, AOP, and Spring JDBC, Hibernate JPA.
Working experience in SQL and database technologies such as MS SQL Server, Oracle
Working experience with a CI/DevOps pipeline with git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins or gitlab
Working experience in SOLID principles, design patterns.
Messaging – IBM MQ, JMS and Solace (Camel and routing).
Junit, Mockito, Power Mock, Spring testing framework, etc.
Working experience in XML/JSON and related technologies.
Applied knowledge of design and integration patterns.
Experience deploying applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
Versioning tool like Git, Bitbucket or GitLab.
Debugging and problem solving skills.
Working experience in Agile Methodology.
Structured approach to problem solving and ability to manage parallel streams of work.
Strong interpersonal and written/oral communications skills.
Experience in mentoring junior resources.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
knowledge of Java21, TDD, Apache Kafka, No SQL – MongoDB, React, Angular
Proven experience of Quality Assurance techniques relevant to application development.
Knowledge of Jira, Confluence.
Knowledge of Linux or other UNIX-based systems
Good experience in Cloud technology (OpenShift etc.).
Knowledge of Banking domain
