To be successful as a Software Engineer, you should have hands on experience with:
Core Testing Knowledge - Manual and functional testing concepts.
Understanding of Agile principles and practices.
Non-Functional Testing (NFT) - Basics of performance and security testing.
Basic Unix commands and navigation.
Programming Skills - Java (medium to advanced level), Python (medium level).
Automation Tools - Selenium (medium level), Playwright (medium level).
API Testing - Knowledge of API testing concepts and tools.
Version Control & Build Tools - GitLab and Git commands, Maven basics.
Database Skills - SQL fundamentals.
Defect Management & Reporting - JIRA usage, Basic reporting techniques.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
AI & ML Basics - Awareness of concepts and applications.
Advanced Automation - Playwright programming (beyond basics).
Programming Depth - Stronger coding proficiency in Java/Python.
Performance Testing Tools - Tools and techniques related to NFT

The role is based out of Pune.
Purpose of the role
To design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, to ensure software quality and reliability.
