To be successful as aTechnical Business Analyst , you should have experience with:
Techno functional business analyst having experience in building resilient Interface & Integration Design, Ability to design interfaces that remain correct and predictable under failure conditions—covering data consistency, graceful degradation, and rapid recovery. This includes: Understanding redundancy mechanisms, multi‑region / multi‑AZ failover, RTO/RPO‑driven recovery targets. Designing flows that survive network failures, node outages, and transient backend errors without data corruption.
Liquidity and Cash Management / Payments experience. Good understanding of Customer Journeys in the Liquidity Management
Experience in large scale product implementation including integration various upstream and downstream applications in Bank’s estate using various communication protocols and also define integration and interfacing requirements between Liquidity Management systems and other systems such below (as example)
Core banking systems
Payments platforms
GL and accounting systems
Channels (host‑to‑host, APIs, portals)
Regulatory and reporting systems
Create detailed specifications for data flows, message formats, validations, and error handling and have worked with multiple integration protocols including (but not limited to):
APIs (REST / SOAP)
ISO 20022 (PAIN, CAMT, PACS messages)
File‑based integrations (CSV, XML, flat files)
MQ / middleware‑based integrations
Desirable Skills:
Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding Agile Way of Working and hands-on experience on enabling tools such as Jira, Rally and Confluence
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise-Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.
