Explore locationJoin us as a Technical Delivery Manager at Barclays, where you will be accountable for the end‑to‑end delivery of payments and banking technology initiatives. You will work at the intersection of business, operations and engineering, taking accountability for the end‑to‑end delivery of SWIFT messaging and payments programs, ensuring secure, resilient and timely outcomes aligned to strategic objectives. In this role, you will provide delivery leadership across multiple workstreams, ensuring adherence to Barclays change governance, risk and control frameworks, while enabling the ongoing evolution and transformation of our payments and messaging platforms.
To be successful as a Technical Delivery Manager , you should have experience with:
End‑to‑end delivery ownership of payments and banking technology initiatives, including planning, execution and delivery assurance, preferably within SWIFT and financial messaging domains.
Strong delivery management skills including schedule, financials, dependency management, RAID ownership, executive reporting and senior stakeholder communication.
Working closely with engineering, architecture, operations, business and vendor teams to deliver complex, cross‑functional technical change.
Operating within regulated environments with a strong focus on risk management, controls, audit readiness and compliance with enterprise change frameworks.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Good understanding of payment flows, clearing and settlement, and financial messaging lifecycles (MT / ISO 20022 exposure preferred).
Experience delivering large‑scale platform upgrades, migrations or transformation programs.
Familiarity with Agile, SAFe or hybrid delivery models within enterprise technology environments.
Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex technical delivery into clear business outcomes.

The role is based out of Pune.
