Embark your transformative journey as Vice President Senior Business Analyst for Merchant Acquiring domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for business analysis activities by following Agile practices, ensuring the standards are adhered to and exceeded and that all project requirements are met. To work with the business and operations to understand and develop their business requirements. To formulate recommendations based on analysis in order to influence the decisions of the business. Translate the Business requirements into functional requirements and work with the Vendor and other delivery teams to define requirement scope and interdependencies. To work with technology partners to ensure technology have a full understanding of the Business requirements. The Role is required to interact with various teams during requirement definition like Business, Product, Operations, Finance, Risk and Compliance to understand the requirements. The role is also expected to interact with the Application Vendor to define and clarify the requirements that are captured. The role is also expected to interact with various dependent application teams in the landscape. To Investigate alternate business solutions to issues / challenges, and represent these business solutions for agreement. To document the requirements in the agreed format to the required level of detail. The role is required to have good general communication and documentation skills to give clear and concise descriptions in flexible terminology such that concepts can be described to the Business, Technical and Management stakeholders with equal flexibility.

To be successful as Vice President Senior Business Analyst, you should have experience with:

  • Strong Business Analyst experienced in large scale implementations / transformations.
  • Strong knowledge of Cards and Payments. Knowledge of Payment Facilitators / MarketPlaces.
  • Knowledge of Alternate Payment Method and knowledge of Payment Gateways.
  • Expert in Merchant Acquiring domain (end to end life cycle):Merchant Onboarding,Merchant Servicing,Transaction Processing,Scheme Clearing,Scheme Settlement,Merchant billing,Merchant settlement,Merchant Risk Management.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

Experienced on Agile. Strong at communication. Expert at stakeholder management (Product / Risk / Legal / Operations / Finance / Front Office). Ready for managing a team of high performing business analysts (perm and SIs). Working knowledge of process mapping tools, JIRA and Confluence.

Purpose of the role

To support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by the identification of business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities. 

Accountabilities

  • Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
  • Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
  • Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
  • Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
  • Support to change management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.
