The Cash & Liquidity specialist is responsible for the delivery of specialist consultative advice and the provision of Cash Management, on-balance sheet Transactional & Liquidity solutions to our personal and non-personal client base.
The role holder will be responsible for creating and delivering a strategy to achieve both the financial and non-financial objectives of the team. This will be achieved by working alongside the Asia Segment Head, Team Leaders, Private Bankers, Credit Structurers and Investment Advisors to formulate and deliver tailored On-balance sheet Liquidity solutions (Current & Call A/c’s, Notice A/c, Money Market Deposits and other specialist products), Payments & Receivables, Digital Banking connectivity solutions; together with other key priorities for the PB business. The role holder goal is to focus on both gaining “New to Barclays” business, resulting in incremental income / profit, and increased wallet share from existing clients. As the local Banking representative, the role holder will also have responsibility for ensuring that product launches/enhancements are implemented as agreed, adhering to appropriate change governance and that bespoke client pricing is undertaken in line with agreed governance processes.
Key Requirements:
• Cash & liquidity management sales experience preferably with some exposure to dealing with clients
• Knowledge of balance sheet products, including on-balance sheet liquidity solutions as well as payments & receivables, a technical understanding of pricing and worth of funds and be familiar with both operational and client servicing environments
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to construct, present and deliver technical and product information to clients and/or internally to groups of Private Bankers and Private Banking Executives in a language that is relevant to the audience.
• Strong track record in working collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to extract, manipulate and interrogate data to identify opportunities
