Explore locationJoin Barclays as a Cyber Fraud Fusion Test Engineer, where you'll contribute to advanced technical assessments aimed at identifying vulnerabilities and reducing fraud risk. As part of the Cyber Fraud Fusion Center, you will apply offensive security techniques to simulate fraud-related threats and uncover weaknesses across processes, technologies, and controls. Your role will involve supporting end-to-end purple team testing—developing test scenarios, executing red team simulations, and collaborating with blue teams to strengthen detection and response efforts. This position calls for your considerable technical ability, a security testing mindset, and a collaborative approach to delivering scalable solutions that help counter upstream economic crime.
To be successful in your role as Cyber Fraud Fusion Test Engineer, you will need the following:
Experience working in financial or other highly regulated organizational sector
Awareness of fraud root cause analysis, investigations, cyber fraud enablers, cybersecurity and control testing techniques or principles
Awareness of table-top threat assessments or simulations
Ability to self-motivate and align with Team targets and deliverables
Ability to assess data, correlate, and communicate results in written format to stakeholders
Other highly valued skills may include:
Knowledge of fraud intelligence collection & assessment or fraud investigations
Knowledge of malicious tools used by fraud actors to target customers, including eBanking Trojans, POS/ATM malware, mobile malware, webinjects, and phishing kits
Experience with fraud detection and prevention systems
Knowledge of latest social engineering, IA-assisted impersonation and other similar tactics used by cybercriminals
Previous experience working within Red and/or purple teams

This role is located in New York, NY.
Minimum Salary: $75,000.00
Maximum Salary: $135,000.00
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
