Embark on a transformative journey as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer – Securitized Products Electronic Trading. The Securitized Products division is increasing its investment in Electronic Trading, and this role will be pivotal to end-to-end development. Working directly with Trading and Sales, you will join a high-performing team implementing a best-in-class electronic trading system using a combination of Java, Angular, .NET, and other technologies. This is a unique opportunity to take on a key role in a high-visibility project within a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment.

To be successful as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer – Securitized Products Electronic Trading, you should:

  • Be a capable programmer with a passion for clean, efficient code using Object Oriented Design principals

  • Exhibit advanced Java skills with a thorough understanding of multi-threading

  • Possess extensive experience working with pub/sub frameworks and associated technologies such as Kafka or Solace

  • Be familiar with Angular coding and Web Socket implementation for real time systems

  • Have a thorough understanding of Fixed Income products (ideally Securitized Products) and Electronic Trading workflows

Other highly valued skills include:

  • Experiencing using Mongo DB to efficiently work with large data sets

  • Ability to directly gather business requirements from front office users and translate them into a coherent technology book of work

  • Experience leading the analysis, design, and implementation of Fixed Income Electronic Trading systems

  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring Boot & Guice

Salary for Whippany, NJ:

Minimum Salary: $170,000

Maximum Salary: $230,000

Minimum Salary: $170,000

To  lead and manage engineering teams, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions, driving technical excellence, fostering a culture of innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical decisions with business objectives. 

Accountabilities

  • Lead engineering teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture to achieve project goals and meet organizational objectives.
  • Oversee timelines, team allocation, risk management and task prioritization to ensure the successful delivery of solutions within scope, time, and budget.
  • Mentor and support team members' professional growth, conduct performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluation and enhancement of engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency, streamline workflows, and optimize team productivity.
  • Collaboration with business partners, product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure a cohesive approach to product development.
  • Enforcement of technology standards, facilitate peer reviews, and implement robust testing practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
