At Barclays, our vision is clear – to redefine the future of banking and help craft innovative solutions to provide world class platform products that will enable the Barclays Fraud Engineering team. In this role, you will be developing applications with machine learning components to support Barclay’s fraud technology. Additionally, you will get the opportunity to work with latest Cloud technologies and Java/other languages in an agile environment to achieve the right results.
To be successful as a Sr. Platform Engineer, you should have:
A master’s in computer science
An understanding on Cloud Technologies (E.g. AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)
Experience working with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud - One of the three)
DevOps understanding and experience with Jenkins, Chef, CI/CD, GitLab, Containerization - Docker/Kubernetes, Graphana, ELK
An understanding in one of the following programming languages: Python, Java or C++
