What will you be doing?

Barclays Services Corp. seeks Salesforce Developer in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):

1.    Minimize both the number and severity of incidents and potential problems to the business and organization. 
2.    Execute a vital function across Barclaycard International with several key responsibilities.
3.    Provide end-to-end proactive management and development of a portfolio of IT services necessary to fulfill business demand and SLAs. 
4.    Manage the delivery of service management and improvement activities, which delivers additional value of efficiencies to IT services. 
5.    Coordinate technical resources across organizational boundaries to achieve optimum service performance and ensure all IT services operate to internal service level management standards. 
6.    Maintain, own and tracks operational guides for support, knowledgebase, development procedures, SLA documentation, upstream and downstream. 
7.    Develop and support Salesforce application for improvements across the entire suite of business apps. 
8.    Collate data for Proactive Service Improvement initiatives including trending of incidents, root cause and other MI reports. 
9.    Perform DevOps Acitivities for applications to build and deploy pipelines using various technologies like OpenShift and Jenkins. 
10.    Monitor and Track applications by creating using AppD and Esaas for any potential failures for Experience API's. 
11.    Reviews Implementation Plans & Release Documentation, and prepare and execute BCM, DR, and the group resiliency tests. 
12.    May telecommute.

Minimum Salary: $152,859 per year 
Maximum Salary: $168,145 per year 

The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
