In this role, you’ll support our Equities clients by developing low-latency, high-throughput FIX-based connectivity systems. You’ll be part of a global development effort with the opportunity to shape trading technology, collaborate across teams, and build solutions that deliver real impact.
To be successful as a Senior Connectivity Engineer, you should have experience with:
Developing distributed applications in Java or C++ focused on performance and reliability under Linux
Applying knowledge of the FIX protocol in connectivity systems
Working with multi-threading, memory management, caching, networking, distributed systems, and algorithms
Building technology solutions for trading, risk, middle office, or related financial services
Guiding and mentoring junior engineers within a team environment
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Familiarity with network or platform infrastructure
Scripting with Bash, Perl, or Python
Clear and effective communication across technical and business teams
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Whippany, New Jersey
Minimum Salary: $170,000
Maximum Salary: $230,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.

This position is eligible for an incentive award.
