Explore locationJoin Barclays as a Senior Software Engineer on the CIAM team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping a new digital platform capability. This role offers you the opportunity to drive transformation and modernization across our digital estate, contributing to the development of a market-leading digital experience centered around customer needs. In this key role, you will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams aligned to the business, fostering a culture of teamwork, and innovation at the core of everything we do.
To be successful as a Senior Software Engineer, you should have:
Considerable IAM engineering background with expertise across the IAM domain, including tooling, products, protocols, taxonomy, identity management, authentication, authorization, and identity federation
Experience with single sign on, OAuth2, OIDC, PKI, PSD2 SCA knowledge and possession based authentication. ForgeRock developer experience with PingGateway, PingAM, PingIDM and PingDS, including JavaScript coding of PingGateway scripted routes, and PingAM authentication tree nodes
Knowledge with coding across either JavaScript or Java, comfortable in designing extensible IAM APIs for seamless integration with external and internal applications
Working knowledge of implementing PingAM custom authentication trees, including downstream API integration with threat sensors (ThreatMetrix, BioCatch, etc.), adaptive authentication and step-up authentication, including the abilitiy to implement data links between internal and external LDAPS, JDBC, SOAP, HTTPS, and other data sources
Some other highly valued skills may include:
Experience in implementing PingGateway single-sign-on routes, dynamic proxies and filter chains, or implementing PingIDM based data links
Experience in partnering with security, product, engineering, and compliance teams, to embed identity-first principles into the DevSecOps lifecycle
You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role is located in Whippany, New Jersey.
Minimum Salary: $170,000
Maximum Salary: $230,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
